Deadly Pet-pots
I haven't been updating much lately huh. I just have no JIVE. No MOJO. No TUT-TUT. No PING-PONG. Ok I can just go on and on and on ariston and on and on.
The words of that makcik is still ringing in my head. And it has been weeks. I was accompanying my mum to consult her services. Sounds dodgy. Consult her catering services. While the elders were in the midst of verbalising, I just browsed through some albums and made myself busy with the cup of tea served....with no scones? Bleargh. Oh but behold, my ears were very aware of what being said. It got carried away into an uninvited pour of information about the previous tenant. I could see my mum feeling uncomfortable about it. Hence she changed the subject and shared a piece of good news (to us and maybe you) with her but apparently it backfired. Mum was merely telling her that one of their mutual friends is also now running her own business from home in a delightful manner. And she instantly responded to that with these words ; "oh meniaga plak..dia dah ^susah eh skarang?". My reaction : Huh?. Meniaga means susah? Since when?
Doesn't she know that perniagaan is a very much encouraged pursuit by our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w ? Or did she forget that she herself was doing very much the same thing? So does that make her 'susah' as well? Sadly such mindset still exists today. I have a lot of relatives whom run both big and small, local and international businesses. So I guess small means susah then? Typical.

If I have the means and sources to run a business from home when I have a family of my own, I am more than willing to give up this IT job.

Smelly Jackfruit

Marang Skeper
Belajar tinggi-tinggi sampai dah jadi lawyer. Takkan lah tak tahu muka aku ni setakat buat apa yang patut di ofis saje. Kalau computer kat rumah tu perangai macam Badigol takkan lah aku pon terbabit sama sekali. Dah beribu-ribu lemon kali aku kena. Seperti Singtel akan cakap "Refer to Vendor". Kan Janet kan kan kan?
